Mortise & Tenon Joints for strong construction that are easy to make. Shorten the design and you have a Entrance Mirror to check your self out coming and going.

Lengthen the design and you have a Dressing Mirror, that can be hung on the wall or back of a closet door.

Trotting Horse Decor designs where made with hand and power tools. We used a Router to create a Dado (slot), Rabbet (groove) and 1/4" Rounds. The Mortise & Tenon Joints where done with a table saw, but those can be done by hand. A little patience with a Backsaw (10" to 16") and a Coping Saw can create the same joints. All our pieces where made with common 3/4" Clear White Pine and some projects we use 1/2" x 6" x 36" Select Aspen (purchased from a Home Depot) These designs where all finished with a Stain and Satin Polyurethane, with the exception of the Trotting Horse Wine Rack.  We spray painted the Wine Rack with a black satin enamel finish.
